Who you are dealing with

Quotes

Written quotes are fixed for 30 days from the date we send them, and cover the work described on the quote. If something is found on site that changes the job, we stop, tell you what it means and what it costs, and wait for you to agree before carrying on.

Prices on this website

Prices shown on this site are guides based on typical jobs, and they include VAT. The price for your job is the one on your written quote.

Payment

Repairs and servicing are payable on completion. Installations are payable as set out on your quote. We accept bank transfer and card.

Cancellation

If you booked as a consumer away from our premises you have 14 days to cancel. If you ask us to start work inside that period and then cancel, we may charge for the work done up to that point. To cancel, email or ring us.

Guarantees

Manufacturer warranties on equipment we install are registered in your name and their length is stated on your quote. Our own workmanship on installations is guaranteed for 12 months. Guarantees do not cover damage, misuse, or faults caused by work carried out by someone else afterwards.

Access and safety

We need safe access to the work area and to the gas and water isolation points. If an appliance is found to be immediately dangerous we are required to make it safe, which may mean disconnecting it, and we will explain why at the time.

Complaints

Ring us first on 07947 909074. Most things get sorted the same day. If it is not resolved to your satisfaction, put it in writing to info@gofixgroup.com and we will respond within 14 days.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
